The One Million Squidoo Lens Challenge

This is the daily log of the one million lens challenge. I will live off Squidoo income by making content-rich lenses, or make one million lenses! Which ever comes first. Basically, I’m not giving up. Follow me as I conquer Squidoo!

Day 59: 2 Lenses… and TOP 3 GROUP!! April 17, 2007

Two lenses today, which is good.

And – the One Million Lens Challenge group is now the third largest group on Squidoo!

At this exact moment, here are the numbers I’m chasing:

The Anyone Can Join Group —– 1926 lenses
The Marketing Group ———— 1064 lenses
The One Million Lens Group —- 855 lenses

I think it will take about a week to overtake the Marketing Group, and a little while longer to overtake the Anyone Can Join Group. Maybe 2 weeks 🙂 What do you think?

The 2 lenses I made today are: (I misspelt the word invalid in the permanent URL link!)

They’re both about clicking on your own AdSense ads. Invalid and fraudulent AdSense clicks.

So why not check them out, why not rate them, and remember not to click on your own AdSense ads!

  1. Just curious. Have you gotten the Adsense earnings results yet from so many lenses? I’m trying to figure out an average monthly lens earning.

  2. Skills Says:

    Hello InvoluntaryGypsy,

I haven’t yet had earnings results for any full month yet. Because there is no full month where I won’t add new lenses to my total (so keeping score would produce unreliable results) the best way to find out would be to set 2 or 3 lenses to donate 20% to different charities. If you do this on the next Squidoo payday you will be able to see how much that lens earned by the next payday. Because you will be told how much you donated to the different charities. And you will know that the amount you donated is 1 fifth of the total money that lens earned.

Let me know if you do this and what you results are!

Thanks for reading the blog 😉

  3. I actually have a few lenses that are 100% going to charity. Each lens covers a different charity. So that should work also. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll let you know (in about 3 weeks, I guess).
